Funding rate arbitrage
with real net yield
Raw funding tables lie. VoltArb builds long/short combos across exchanges and shows estimated net yield after fees — so you chase cash flow, not screenshots.
What is funding rate arbitrage?
Perpetual futures pay (or charge) a funding rate so the contract stays near spot. When rates diverge across exchanges, you can go long where you get paid and short where you pay — aiming for delta-neutral cash flow.
The trap: fees, basis drift, and wrong intervals wipe “easy” funding. You need live rates, matched legs, and a net number — not a single exchange screenshot.
Why use VoltArb for funding arb
Ready long/short combos
Cross-exchange pairs ranked by estimated net yield — not a raw rate dump.
Fees in the math
Rough net after typical taker costs so you do not confuse APR with P&L.
Live rates
Rates refresh with the live stack — stale funding boards lose money.
Tied to spread arb
Combine funding with spot–futures or fut–fut when the basis helps.
Pro Telegram alerts
Filter funding setups into your personal bot and private group.
See the product path
Open /app/funding — Free sees the Pro gate; upgrade or trial to unlock.
How to run funding arb in 4 steps
Open Funding in the app
Go to /app/funding (Pro). Sort by net yield and filter exchanges you actually fund.
Check intervals & next payment
8h vs 1h venues change cash-flow timing. Align legs before the next settle.
Size for both books
Confirm you can open both sides without blowing through thin books.
Monitor basis + D/W
If mark/spot drifts or you need to move collateral, exit — funding is not free money.
FAQ
Is funding rate arbitrage free on VoltArb?
The marketing pages and blog are free. The live Funding scanner inside the app is a Pro feature (from $9.90/wk via USDT on site; 3-day trial once via Telegram hub).
Does VoltArb place the trades?
No. Scanner, Tracker and alerts are research only — you execute on the exchanges yourself. The optional, invite-only Terminal beta is separate: user-confirmed manual execution with restricted Read+Trade keys (no withdrawals or transfers).
Which exchanges are covered?
30 CEX and DEX venues including Binance, Bybit, OKX, MEXC, Bitget, Gate, Hyperliquid, and more.
How is this different from Coinglass?
Coinglass is great derivatives data. VoltArb focuses on executable arb workflows: combos, net yield framing, and the same stack as spread/D/W tools.
