An announcement. Several different deadlines.

A practical route from an exchange headline to the exact market, source schedule and available trading data.

Educational calculations and historical observations explain the mechanics and do not establish a trade’s outcome. Exchange conditions can change. How we prepare articles

Key points

An exchange announcement confirms what the source announced. Check its exact pair, market type and separate trading/deposit/withdrawal times. A headline or a scanner quote alone does not establish that your account can place and settle the intended trade.

Open News

Trading availability must be checked separately on the exchange.

Start with the full announcement

The feed helps you notice an event. Open the original next: a headline often omits markets, deadlines and exceptions. Check the exchange domain, publication date and later revisions. A translation can help you read the text; verify pair identifiers, times and conditions against the source.

For a derivatives announcement, separately check the contract type and its trading-termination or settlement rules. A spot delisting schedule cannot simply be applied to a similarly named perpetual contract.

An event can have several clocks

FieldWhat to check
PublicationWhen the exchange published the notice; it need not be when the market changes.
DepositsWhich assets and networks are affected, and when acceptance starts or stops.
TradingThe pair, market type, and exact time or explicitly announced time range.
WithdrawalsThe separate deadline, supported networks and additional source conditions.
Orders and botsWhat the notice says about open orders and active strategies.

Keep the timezone with the time. If the source says 08:00 UTC, preserve that value before converting it to local time. If it gives a window of 08:00–10:00 UTC, do not turn that into a precise-minute promise. Leave an unspecified deadline unknown.

A pair delisting and a token delisting have different scopes

Bybit’s 31 August 2026 notice concerns HFTUSDC. It separately states that other available pairs for the base and quote assets remain available, and deposits and withdrawals stay open unless announced otherwise. A headline about one pair should therefore not be retold as complete removal of the token.

Historical example: separate the dates

OKX’s MAJOR and J notice of 26 May 2026 lists separate deadlines. MAJOR/USDT and J/USDT trading was scheduled to end in the 08:00–10:00 UTC window on 5 June; deposit suspension was scheduled for 08:00 UTC on 26 May; withdrawal suspension for 08:00 UTC on 26 August. MAJOR/USDⓈ had a separate trading date. This is a reading of a historical schedule, not a current invitation to trade those pairs.

Original OKX notice and schedule

A practical mistake is saving only the trading deadline and missing an earlier deposit suspension. Record each deadline that affects your intended action separately.

Before checking quotes

  1. Match the venue, base asset, quote currency and market type. BTC/USDT spot and a BTC perpetual are separate markets.
  2. Check that trading has opened and the market is available to your account and region. The announcement alone does not establish this.
  3. Inspect quote time, bid/ask and order-book depth. A historical price move does not replace an executable-price estimate.
  4. If a transfer is involved, separately verify both transfer endpoints, the same network and the asset requirements.

How to follow this workflow in VoltArb

Open News → Exchange events, find the announcement and open the original. Do not automatically treat the card’s publication time as the trading start. Next, open Scanner, find the exact pair and check the available markets. Use Pumps to examine an already observed price move.

An announcement card in the current News feed does not confirm trading eligibility. Missing quotes do not establish a cause: the market may be unsupported, data may be unavailable, or a separate restriction may apply. Check the official market and service status before drawing a conclusion.
